A review of Burleigh Arms by Peter Manning written on Sunday 15th of July 2007
I have visited the Burleigh Arms on numerous occasions. The service is good, and the family who run it are friendly, though David is never out of the kitchen! I enjoy the choice of real ales as it makes a change not to have Greene King.
Whilst the menu is good value and extensive, there are never any specials and it seems bland. The sunday lunches seemed to be reheated and can never get the beef anything but well done. I wish that they could do something different as it is becoming more like a cafe at lunchtimes than a real pub. .
