Note the product details,
Note any serial and batch numbers
Note the problem with the product
Make the point clear about the product maybe coming from an entire batch that could be faulty - the store maybe knows this already from other issues raised since the product went on sale, but the vital essence of implying you may not be alone with your complaint is that a single complainant compared to an angry mob are a world apart, you need to pull that layer around you as surely as if it is a coat for wearing in the Arctic.... ....you are merely informing the store where their production has gone wrong though and by bringing it to their attention you expect nothing less than a refund/replacement which is your basic right and the least you expect and you are doing your bit by not simply discarding it and calling it collateral damage to your household budget - by returning the product with a clear description of the problem, the store will improve it's products and services - and as you have "field tested" a faulty product, you should never end up paying any more than you already do...
So, speaking of Aldi - has anyone any issue with Alio Kitchen foil being crimped/distressed on one end of the roll preventing normal use with tearing of the sheet no matter how carefully it is unfurled?
( I've seen the same thing before with a cling-film type roll used for wrapping pallets in warehouses, but that's heavy use and likely to happen quite often)
