A review of Tatties Café Restaurant by Mr Penniall written on Wednesday 22nd of August 2007
Having passed this restaurant many times whilst visiting Cambridge i decided to stop for some lunch at their Trinity street restaurant.
From the outside it looked ok and the menu had good variety. It was busy upstairs so we sat downstairs.
What a mistake! It was stuffy and clostrophobic.
Ordered a meat lasagne for £6.95 ,thinking it would be homecooked and a decent portion. How wrong was i.
It looked like a supermarket value version for a quid!! The meat was like corned beef and overpowered with herbs. It was so pale and looked microwaved..
