I have been seeing David Murphy for many years. With a fairly complex ophthalmic history, I cannot be the easiest of patients. Throughout this time he has shown an absolute dedication to resolving my problems. Professional expertize with a very friendly disposition one can expect from David. I am blind in one eye. He has always done his best to reassure. Two notable episodes spring to mind. Lost (literally and metaphorically) without my contact lens when I lost it, David faxed through the prescription and I was without a lens for a couple of days only. More recently I asked him to produce a pair of spectacles for me of a high (cataract) prescription. In the past sand would have had to have been imported from Russia. I would have accidentally burned ants when I wore previous pieces of furniture. David produced as good, I suspect, as one can get. He is the best, from somebody who knows. My family and friends see David Murphy. Quite seriously you could not make a better (important) decision. Neil Hobbs.
