A review of The Bakers by Katie Howell written on Saturday 9th of February 2008
I don't know who this person is, but I suggest that he must have been related to the previous tennants. Our Staff are extremely friendly and all the feedback that we have had has been nothing but good and positive. Our staff do not push anyone to buy a drink but are extremely courteous, maybe this gentlemen mistook helpfulness for pushy. As for being a ghost town, we are a completely new venture taking on the task of starting from scratch and gone are the days when you do a new refurbishment and expect a quick return, this gentleman must have come in at a quiet time. Good business takes time and hard work which we have an abudance of and we aim to supply fantastic service, excellent freshly cooked food, and great beer at reasonable prices, maybe this gentleman liked paying £7 for a pint of beer when it was the Noble Art, well if that's the case then I'm glad that we've gone back in time as he suggests. It's such a shame that people have to fabricate stories such as this. .
