A review of Aldi by Steve Simmons written on Sunday 16th of March 2008
I was amazed to read of complaints about the Tevion MP3 player. I bought a model 7270 in late Feb 2008 from Aldi. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it, nor the manual, nor the quality. Frankly, for the £30 it cost, compared to all the other double-priced equivalents (also made in China, in spite of whose name appears on the front), it represents very good value for money. These days, people seem to excel at whingeing rather than actually taking a bit of time to read the instructions. Tevion (nor Aldi) with all due respect are the best in the world, but I have yet to find anyone else that offers decent quality at very good prices and I have been into several of their supermarkets in arious European countries.
If you want idiot-proof technological equipment, then pay your not so idiot-proof prices elsewhere. The end result will still mount to the same. By the time, you have sussed out everything on how the gizmo works, it will have been superceded, old and yesterday's news. Try www.fascin8.co.uk it is a website for TEVION products. It's not perfect either, but it's there to edfucate you and give you what you need as far as info is concerned. Sometimes a bit of praise goes a lot further than a moan! Try it! .
