"IRISH SESSION THRIVES"

A review of Earl Of Beaconsfield by Ted written on Thursday 24th of April 2008

Since the closure of the Boat Race in 2004, the best Irish session in Cambridge has been here at the "Becks" on Monday nights. We start from about 8.30pm and welcome musicians who are passing through, on holiday or just living here! If you can play you're welcome. But come along anyway, just for the craic! It's a foot tapping mixture of jigs, reels, hornpipes, pokas etc with a few songs thrown in.

Good beer, good staff and a relaxing atmosphere. Good fun!.
