A review of Anatolia Cuisine by Ann Harding written on Friday 6th of June 2008
We liked the look of Anatoli's and booked for 7 0'clock. We were 20 minuts late but the restaurant was more than half empty so it wasn't a problem. But from then on we were treated to surly monosyllabic answers and had our food slammed down without comment by the head waiter. It was removed as we took the last bite and the next course slammed down in a similar way. Coffee? Well, don't bother, we weren't even asked what sort we wanted before the waiter turned away. I hope the young waiter he was training doesn't pick up these habits. It is a pity as the food was good and all we wanted was a pleasant evening in welcoming surroundings. We won't be going again and nor will the other members of our eating club and their friends..
