"Dear Sir, you are truly a door man"

A review of The Anchor by Debby Brown written on Friday 20th of June 2008

I agree with all your statement, apart from the fact that I have been led to belive that the drinking up time is down to the managers discresion. If he/she wants the pub shut at 11 so it shall be. You sound like a big fella so I wont argue. I to worked the doors, in Blackpool, I was at the time 8st, I am 5ft and wait for it !! female!! when asked if 'i was ard' I would reply you dont need to be in this job you just need to be able to talk to people. It is a shame that 'the public' dont behave this way..
