"Baskets at last!"

Aldi have just had plastic shopping baskets on sale in their specials. I bought one intending to keep it in the car and use it whenever I went in. It was a bargain at £2.49 but I soon realised why they dont have them available for customers. It was impossible to use at the checkout! I shop with Aldi regularly and really appreciate the speed and efficiency of their checkout system, with a basket it is slower and far more complicated for the customer. I took advantage of the 30 day refund policy and will be using a trolley from now on..
