A review of La Tasca by Hungry Horace written on Monday 13th of October 2008
We ordered the £25 set menu and the food came up so quick no way could it have been cooked to order. It tasted, as my 15 year old son said "like a frozen ready meal". Chicken in wine sauce was very dry, the potatoes were ok but covered in a plain old tomato sauce the prawns was the only thing we finished. We were famished too - we hadn't eaten since the morning. All in all a disapointing experience. We did not complain but they gave us 10% off as it was obvious we did not enjoy the meal. I cannot believe that this is authentic Tapas..
