A review of PC World by Anonymous written on Wednesday 15th of October 2008
This is a reply to Paul Burke's review of PC world and the need for him to give his details. When buying hardware such as a monitor, your details are recorded onto the system, this is to allow us to help you out with the maufacturers warranty, which on a monitor would be a year long warranty. If we take your details and you lose your receipt, we can search you on our system and help you out with any refunds or sending the product to the manufacturer for repairs. If you are worried that you will be sent tonnes of ads in the post, ask the person serving you to stop that, all we need to do is tick a box. As for your sarcastic little remarks about DNA, no, not really, we only need basic details and its only for your benefit, PC World isnt an organisation hell bent on taking over the world, its just trying to provide you a good service, stop being so paranoid..
