"Boots staff are human beings too!"

A review of Boots by Stephanie written on Wednesday 7th of January 2009

Boots staff are given training on how to give good customer service, sometimes certain people aren't naturally submissive and will be rude back if a customer is rude to them.

People don't like to queue, I don't, but I would never take it out on the person serving me, it is not a personal insult so get over yourself!

Boots staff do take a lot of unnecessary abuse from impatient and arrogant customers, I know staff who have had things thrown at them because the customer was in a bad mood before they even came in the shop.

Shoppers should know that Boots has a zero tolerance towards verbal and physical abuse towards staff, they can be removed from the store and banned.

I have worked for Boots for 23 years and can honestly say the support from the company and management for the staff has deterioated badly, so if we don't robotically smile at every 20 customers in our queues....please be patient! .
