"£70 for 11 minutes over whilst queing in ALdi"

I have recieveda fine of £70 for being 11 minutes over the 1and a half hour limit, i was queing in Aldi. Now they saying if i can proove i spent £30 they will let me off the fine. Surely as long as i was shopping in Aldi and have the receipt whatever the amount i spent that should be proof enough no minimunm spend! Only first time in Aldi and definately the last!!!!!.
