"Worst meal EVER!!!"

We met up with family in Cambridge and just wanted a snack. The Mitre seemed to be the only pub we came across(as well as the pub next door but that was too busy!) so we waited for a table in the Mitre. After ordering we then waited approx 45mins- 1hr for our food. Some had the starter snacks some had a proper meal. All were totally discusting,cold, over cooked and bland.Even the chips were crap,how can you not cook chips?!!! We would of rather eaten in Mcdonalds!! We did tell the waiter how bad it was but no one came to us to ask what the problem was etc. Never again.
