A review of Nandos by Faizan written on Thursday 28th of May 2009
Guys When A chicken is shocked it is not dead, it is unconcious now thing is KFC in london branches are doing a halal trial which is supported by the same sitificate organisation that supports nandos halal chicken also. The criteria for the HFA ( halal food organisation) says that the chicken can be put unconcious meaning it is not dead and then can be slaughterd making the animal not feel any pain. No animal has been killed by the shock only as you could say put to sleep. Now where it comes to religion it is stated that the animal MUST NOT BE dead or harmed, being unconcius is not harming atall and does not mean the animal is dead. So when slaughterd the animal is alive and that is damn sured. How can such a big organisation give certificates out to restraunts if chicken is not halal?. This shows both kfc and nandos selected branches are 100% HALAL..
