"Nice pub , but bad music!"

I was at the Portland arms last week, the pub is good, very friendly service but the music that night was awful!!

The worts part is we had to pay to listen to it!

It was a girl band , and they were shouting , not singing more likely, they we called "Beverley Kills", and they certainly killed the music that night.

To start with, their key was out, anyone who understands music would definately realise that they cant sing. I wonder how can pubs approve bands like them to promote such an awful music at their venue? I was really dissappointed as me and my partner were looking for place with good live music that night, bt there we were listening to bunch of girls shouting their heart out, with a complete flat tone, really awful!

Overall the pub venue is good , nice pool table, etc.
