"Aldi electricals, you deserve better"

I bought an all in one microwave from Aldi for £78 in February 09, which lasted until August 09 before breaking down completely. After ringing Aldi head office and being kept on hold for 40 minutes, they refused to repair or replace as I was unable to locate the original receipt, so this product is going in the bin. It’s poor quality and their service falls short of what you would receive from Asda or bigger name retailers.

My best advice is - don’t bother with Aldi electricals, you get what you pay for. You deserve better - and that includes the service and after sales support.
