"I stopped using KwikFit"

I used KwikFit for around 5 years for tyres, MOTs and servicing at several branches. I found them all to be competent, competitive and courteous. Newmarket Road branch was of the same high standard when I started using them. However, after taking my car for a service and to have a new starter motor installed, my car lost torque and would barely accelerate. I called them a few days after the service about this, and the man I spoke to was very abrasive, claiming that they never made mistakes. On telling him he had left a screwdriver in the engine area he mumbled that that could happen.

I took the car to Regency Autos over the road, by Tesco. They immediately found that the turbo was not connected properly and fixed it in no time. A few months later, the starter motor KwikFit had installed was loose: the bolts had the wrong thread and were not tightened properly.

I've been using Regency Autos since and have always had good value, good quality work from them..
