Philip Helliar Salon is not only the best salon in Cambridge but one of the best world wide that I have used. If you can get your hair done by Dan then all the better! I will admit to having travelled from Germany for him to cut my hair and my mother and sister regularly travel up from Swindon to do the same. It's not just the cut its the wonderful atmosphere and chatter, a window into a wonderful life, bands, polo, considerably more interesting than a nasal whine of "so where are you goin on holiday this year... anywhere nice...." which you get at most places in the area. Now I will admit that the camp toffish atmosphere may not be to everyones taste but it is definately to mine, and even for those who do find it tiring you will get a wonderful and/or colour!

Give it a go you may well be converted!.
