"A Sainsbury's Tip"

A review of Sainsbury's by A Cheapskate written on Friday 25th of July 2003

A money-saving tip in Sainsbury's:

Whenever a checkout assistant asks if you want to save your reward points, say you want to use them there and then. I can think of at least two occasions when I've used my reward points, then the very next time I'm in Sainsbury's I've miraculously still got those same reward points left, and have used them again to get more money off.

I'm not quite sure how they manage to cock it up like this, but if they've done it to me I'm sure it can happen to you too.

It will save you a whole £2.50..
