"One Good Experience and Two Bad"

The first time I used Parkers I went based on one good review I had found online and was pleasantly suprised at the good service. The guy who cut my hair the first time was patient and helpful and did a good job. The second time I visited Parkers was on a saturday and although the opening times stated a 5pm closing time and I arrived at 4pm I was told by a female member of staff that they were closing, despite having one customer in the shop. Disappointed I returned a week later, this time on a week day. The same lady who turned me down on the weekend was working with another male. I went in with someone who had his hair done by the male, he was very helpful and did a good job, I had the misfortune to be left with the female member of staff and when I sat down and told her I was unsure of the length I wanted she offered no help or advise and stood impatiently watching me squirm! I asked to have the same length as the person I went in with and was told she couldn't because it was a completely different style. I asked if she could cut a bit off and go from there to which she told me that that would count as a restyle so she would have to charge more and that she didn't want the hassle of going through three different hair cuts. After being very passive aggressive and asking me to "throw her a bone" she then gave me a magazine to find en example of the length I wanted... the magazine had one picture of a man with shorter hair than mine so I awkwardly pointed at it and said that sort of length. She cut my hair very, very short, left no trace of sideburns and completed it in half the time and half the care as the other member of staff. To cut a long story short, the service was terrible (from the female member of staff) and I will not be returning, unless she isn't there!.
