A review of Corner House by Dolittle written on Thursday 4th of February 2010
The Corner House seems to have had an overhaul in the last year or so. The new landlords have made every effort to make everyone feel welcome. The majority of the menu is gluten-free which is very rare to find in a pub. The Pizzas, although not gluten-free are inexpensive and by far the best i've ever tasted in Cambridge, freshly made to order 12" stonebaked pizzas for a fiver, can't get better than that!!
The ladies toilet is a bit strange but a vast improvement on the previous set up. I remember visiting the pub when it was run by the last tenants and you had to be able to perform gymnastics to negotiate the cubicle door that opened inwards on the toilet itself! Thanks folks for making the improvements and trying to accomodate us less than agile people!
As for the music I've been there on several occaisions when some fantastic bands have played, great stuff.
The Corner House is one of Cambridge's little gem's waiting to be discovered! .
