"Why should customers have pay double at B& Q?"

I have recently purchased a shower a T80si priced at £139. I then registered the shower on the Triton web site and realised that a very similiar shower 8.5 KW was selling for £74. I was shocked that I had paid nearly double the price.

I contacted B&Q and they were not interested! I was told they do not compare to interent sites, even triton web site, to whom they stock products. I was then told that even if I did find the identical shower a half the price, as I had the shower fitted and was not able to bring it back I would therefore not be entitled to any price refund.

I could not believe what I was hearing. I explained that I had thought that B& Q were comparable to the open market and that I would not look at B&Q fitst in the future.

I think they should follow John Lewis and never be knowingly undersold. They say they have a similiar scheme yet wriggle out of it and give many excuses not to look after the customer.

Watch out when buying from B& Q!.
