A review of B & Q by Stuart hawkes written on Tuesday 29th of June 2010
Well I bought 6 lights for £150. 4 failed in ten months but no receipt then no replacement.Oh they are B&Q and I have the box for one as it was bought as a spare. 4 failing though! To have receipts for this long is unreasonable. No grey areas, some idiot mentioned? What about home fires, lost wallets/purses, house moves? Common sense should prevail. If it is replaced they are not losing nothing. Agreed a refund should not be expected with no receipt. Instead I now bye far cheaper from the web and if it goes wrong and I have problems on refunds I know I saved a packet anyway. Same for the bathroom I have just purchased and the kitchen about to do. Bye Bye B&Q I won't darken your door again. Oh the manufacture at a 24 months gurantee but they are no where to be found now yet B & Q are still selling the Zurich IQ lights.
