"Mediocre, needs work!"

A review of The Mitre by Gail written on Wednesday 13th of August 2003

The Mitre is a nice enough pub in terms of decor and layout, but I have to say that the service can be slow at times. However, I don't blame the staff for this, I think it is management who try to get away with having few staff working.

Also, there doesn't seem to be air conditioning in the pub - some friends and I were there recently and we had to take it in turns to stand outside for ten minutes at a time as it was so hot and stuffy! So we gave up and went somewhere else..
