"Terrible service at the Bridge"

A review of The Bridge by Mandy written on Wednesday 8th of December 2010

Went to the bridge for a midweek dinner and arrived at 5 with only 4 other tables being occupied. We were told the dinner deal was on and proceeded to order a starter, a main and a dessert as part of the deal. Upon ordering, we were advised that there was only 1 chef and he couldn't make the starters!? The staff were not very attentive and completely ignored the dinning room-we waited and waited and food was very slow to come(and only got it after asking for it). 2 other tables had to go to the bar to request that they be served and another table had to go and find staff to ask that their table be cleared! We have been a few times at the weekend and the service is good then-perhaps the owners are away in the week so service slips?! In the end it was 6:15 and we couldn't wait any longer and canceled the coffee order! Service lacking midweek!.
