A review of Halfords by Miss Brown written on Monday 14th of March 2011
I've just read a review left by a member of Halfords staff. This person made reference to Halfords being short staffed and therefore spread very thinly when it comes to serving customers. I'd just like to say, as an ex-shop assistant myself, I understand how this feels. However, there is NEVER an excuse for rudeness to customers. A simple 'be with you in a minute' is all that's necessary sometimes. No matter how busy you are, manners cost nothing and a customer should never feel as though you are too tired, or busy to help them. If you're working in an industry where you're providing a service to the public, you should be the type of person who likes to help or at least can pretend to be interested in helping a customer, even if you've had a long day..
