I've eaten only snacks and coffee in Clowns up to now but I've done so fairly often and am still startled by the wonderful warmth of the reception and service you get here. It's delightful! Recently I dropped in for a coffee, noticed some of the wines and couldn't believe that the prices were for a full bottle - honestly believed they were for half bottles! Couldn't stay for a full one, but my host was only too willing to open a really good bottle of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo and pore me a generous glass for £2! I had to stay for a second!! Am intending to go to Clowns as soon as possible for an evening meal and to give it the full works!.
