A review of The Bridge by ANON written on Wednesday 8th of June 2011
I was so dissapointed with my recent visit to the bridge. As it was mothers day, me and my boyfriend thought it would be nice to take his mum out for lunch!! and because me and my bf had been there before and had a decent meal we thought well its quite local and nice!!! So we did,, well it was a set menu and id already had to pay a £15 deposit before hand. So my boyfriend had vegetable soup and when they bought it out it was watery and COLD!!! Looked like canned soup TBH but they said it was homemade. so we asked for another one to be brought out so they did and then forgot spoon!! (not ideal when your eating soup!!) we also had to wait about 45 mins for our simple coke out of a bar tap drinks!!!! me and mum had ordered a platter to share which was supposed to incluse warm flatbread and what we got was cold tortilla wraps!! and the dips we were supposed to get werent there atall!!! the anoying thing is they werent even busy!!! (not suprising at the service we recieved)!! .......................................................the poor service continued through the main meal and that made our desicion up whether to stay for dessert!! NO WAY!! and when we complained they said no1 else had complained which we thought was hilarious because 3 tables near us had all complained!!! the man in charge had the cheek to have a go at my boyfriend!!! and he only gave us 10% off and i had already paid £15 deposit!!!!!
WAS NOT IMPRESSED!.
