A review of The Rupert Brooke by Barbara written on Sunday 3rd of July 2011
Had dinner at the Rupert Brooke at a nice summer evening. Sat outside and enjoyed the views. Had to wait some time before my roasted chicken salad was served. Staff was apologetic and explained the reason for the delay- a party of 16 people that needed to be served before us. The salad was ok although quite small for a main course salad and consisted mainly of salad leaves, had hardly any dressing and only 1 piece of cucumber and 4 smaill pieces of chicken and only a few almond (or where they cashew nut) shavings and was steeply priced at £10.
Dessert, Eton mess, was delicious..
