A review of Mikes Bikes by Overseas mechanic written on Thursday 15th of December 2011
1989, I used to work in the workshop, with a few other guys, was great FUN, we had a real GREAT time, certainly the bike in 25 yrs has changed, But still remember unboxing ITEK's, Claud Butlers,Falcons,Dawes, Gt's Giant's Specialize, and the little Ice Cream shop next door, that rented all those Rental Bikes to the foreign students in the summer.
It was a great time, and now...........
It's a part of my Portfolio, seeing as I am the BIG BAD BOSS in a Bike company here!
Is the garden still full of old wrecks, and rental bikes? or is it covered over like the showroom, with corrugated plastic roof? and our good friend Nick Thake? is he still running? Geoffs Bikes? Howes? Ben Haywards? CAMBRIDGE! heh! that really is a Bike city!.
