I think you generalise with your comments. You are pointing out one product which you were able to get in a local hardware shop cheaper. May I suggest that they may have had it in stock for a long time and just hadn't been able to sell it before you came along? Myself, I need to congratulate our local B & Q as they were providing replacement Christmas tree light bulbs free of charge... they had a box full of small packets of bulbs and these were completely free to customers.

Please don't tar everyone with the same brush!!.
