A review of The Bridge by Helen written on Saturday 4th of February 2012
Our treat for our 3 children ended up to be a very long and disappointing lunch. This is a shortened version..... when the food finally arrived my sons burger didn`t look right, they had placed the burger and trimmings on a wrap... I checked the menu and it said it should be a seeded bun, when my husband went up and asked about it they said oh didn`t anyone tell you, there was a powercut the day before and the order wasn`t made and so no buns. We asked for some bread instead to at least make it a burger sandwich!.... no apology was made. My husband and I opted for a sharer but wanted different things so they said that would be fine, it would be a single portion. Our food arrived and was presented on a thin bread board of tiny pots, hardly enough to be a starter. My bread selection consisted of one wrap and two small bits of brown bread with no butter. We have never come away feeling hungry from a restaurant and after spending so much money on drinks to "fill the time" will be very reluctant to return. You would think that in todays competative market, the service would be second to none. .
