"A friendly Aladin's cave of a cycle shop"

A review of University Cycles by Robert - London written on Monday 28th of April 2014

I saw about 6-8 cycle shops in Cambridge in a day recently, for me University Cycles is outstanding.

From a small shop front it goes way back, (an archetypal Aladdin's cave) and has the most helpful shop owner I've come across just about anywhere.

I returned on another day(I travelled from London - worth the fair!) and bought a second hand bike, a Dawes men's Geneva, a modern town bike with 7 hub gears by Shimano. Test ride, adjustments and additions all conducted with a genuinely friendly and happy approach. Many of those calling into the shop that Saturday morning were evidently repeat purchasers.

Very reasonable prices, strongly recommend this shop..
