"Complete and utter rambles"

A review of Madingley Road Park & Ride by Sara Hollett written on Monday 18th of August 2014

I have used the Madingley Road P&R in the past and was aware that charges would be introduced in July. On arrival today the was a huge queue as the machines provide bus and parking tickets. I travel with a concession pass but still had to queue for about 15 minutes (during which time a bus left half empty) .

I use the Pear Tree P&R in Oxford, which has charged now for some time, but the machines issue parking tickets only. I think the Madingley Road authorities will have to have a serious rethink as many people were expressing their disquiet and talking about other places to shop come Christmas.

I must congratulate the two employees who came to help out when things were getting heated. They were courteous and helpful and kept calm throughout.

Please sort this out as we shall not visit Cambridge again until it is. Thank you..
