A review of ACG by Estii1910 written on Friday 10th of April 2015
So my phone screen smashed on holiday and I'm trying my hardest to claim insurance on it, however they require a written quote which none of the main repairers like carphone warehouse etc will do, so I found myself at ACG. At about 2:15PM their shop was completely shut, no one there, doors locked, despite saying that their opening times were 10-6. I thought they might have just gone for lunch or something so came back half an hour later and there was one guy there. I said I needed a written quote, which he said was fine but couldn't get it done until the next day. I was a bit annoyed as I don't live in town, and paid stupid bus fair into town especially to get a quote that day, but I agreed anyway. Not wanting to go into town again, I asked my Mum if she could go in and pick up the quote for me on her way into work. 10:30, even though opening times were supposed to be 10-6, still no one there. I tried ringing their supposed number but got nothing. My Mum, bless her, tried to drop in again at 12. still nothing. What is the point in having a shop if no one is going to be there or answer the phone?! I'm very surprised they are still open and running, as they can't get many customers. I have yet to sort the insurance situation out, but if they cause me to lose out on making a claim I will not be very happy at all, as I cannot afford a repair without it. .
