"Pick another Surgery if you can"

Often impossible to arrange an appointment for a future date, you'll get told "ring tomorrow after 8am to get an appointment same day" - perfect if you're self employed, unemployed (or wish to be), and get take off at a moments notice.

Eventually, you will get through, perhaps around 0845 if youre lucky, and then you are told, there are no appointments left for the morning - ring back after 1400 for an afternoon appointment.

So. you ring back after 1400, and get shouted at by a gate-keeper who demands to know who told you to ring back in the afternoon.

They might, if they are feeling generous, give you an appointment if they have one - or you have to go back to the start the next day.

I think this surgery is based around the idea "Time is a great healer".
