"Beautiful binding by a lovely binder"

Colin Elsdon at Stoakleys has made me several sets of books in the last year, from my own printing, bound in card, cloth and leather.

From the beginning Colin was most helpful: this was the first time I'd printed pages for a hand-bound book, and he patiently explained everything I needed to know and went through all the options, both by telephone and email.

The resulting books are lovely, and very reasonably priced, from the simple but elegant card to the gorgeous three-colour leather edition.

I have visited Colin's workshop several times to discuss bindings and collect books (I've also sent and received books by post), and found him just as welcoming and friendly in person..
