A review of Marshall Motor Group by John Rowland written on Thursday 21st of September 2017
I bought my Skoda Superb new from Ridgeway Skoda in 2010. They have done all my servicing and the standard of service has been excellent. The were taken over by Marshall Motors in 2016.
This year something changed - I called to book my usual service and MOT but nobody answered. After 4 or 5 goes over 2 days (using Service Dept's direct line as well as their main number) I only managed to speak to reception who promised 'someone will call me back'. To be fair someone did 2 days after my 1st efforts but I couldn't take the call. No one has called me back after my 2nd batch of calls
This morning I rang my local VW/SKODA garage, Mill Lane Motors in Reading, they helped me out with a battery drain problem and a courtesy car earlier this year when Marshalls quoted me 3 days just to look at it. I got an instant answer and . amazingly , an instant booking. This is more like it.
Marshalls certainly don't deserve customers if they can't even answer the damn phone..
