A review of Anglo World Language School by Jan Viebrock written on Monday 30th of August 2021
I have very fond and and vivid memories of my 6 weeks' term in the Summer of '72. Nice students, dedicated teachers. E.g. Ivor Pemberton, hearing and understanding: What you say depends on what you mean! And his tape recordings of BBC 1 cultural broadcastings about Sir Goosens and others. Unfortunately my stay was to short to gain proficiency in grammar, so I went home without a certificate. But the sympathetic teachers, the wonderful girls from all around the world, the lawn tennis courts, the excursions, and good old Cambridge as it isn't anymore today! Exceptional experience and memories lasting a lifetime!.
