"Why is Currys making such an effort to drive away a customer like me?"

Another disappointment from Currys. I ordered the Lenovo Flex 5i online and collected it at the Cambridge store today. However, upon opening the package at home, I realized that I had received an older version of the product, namely the Flex 5. To confirm my suspicions, I checked the product number on Lenovo's official website and discovered that it had been registered in June 2022, with a mere 84 days remaining on the warranty. I had anticipated receiving a brand new and more recent model of the product. Why is Currys making such an effort to drive away a customer like me?.
