"A village pub in a city"

A review of The Green Dragon by Lord Swiller written on Thursday 4th of December 2003

East Chesterton has a close-knit but essentially friendly community; "The Green Dragon" reflects this. Hence, and especially in the summer months, the pub (in its enviable location near the Cam)is frequented by businesspeople, students, townies and locals alike.

A good visit to this pub, especially when the sun's out, will make a walk along the river all the more agreeable. .
