"Black pepper ice cream!"

A review of Brasserie Gerard by Stephanie written on Sunday 25th of January 2004

Chez Gerard is very nice (cliche I know), I had the lamb, I'd never had lamb before and it was lovely, especially the gravy. We did however have one problem with cold cups of coffee and when we mentioned this to our waitress she didn't seem surprised, but I'm sure they're working on it. My parents thought that their steaks were very good and the chicken that my brother and sister had was all solid chicken, no bones, and much bigger than we expected. Someone in your party must try the black pepper ice cream and the camembert is delish. Pricy but worth it!.
