"Don't Buy Coldseal Windows uless you want trouble"

Single Mum with two teenage daughters waits 5 days for COLDSEAL to respond to an Emergancy call when their new door would not lock -

My windows were being installed on the day BBC Watchdog broadcast their latest program warning prospective customers about COLDSEAL, Three months later, I'm still waiting for them to come and complete the installation. Nobody wants to answer telephones, when you do finally get through they tell you to write to the Managing Director.

After stopping the payments from taking place and getting in touch with the finance company and the Consumer Protection Association, finally a man who does not want to provide me with his last name for fear of being tracked down by unhappy customers, contacts me, not because I have written to everyone and his cat, but because he has been told I've stopped the payments.

I will keep you all informed as to how they deal with the 18 defects and no-completed items, but tale my advice, read the information below and be warned...... Don't touch Coldseal with a bargepole 7th July 2004

Coldseal has had a number of company names: Bryco, Coldseal, Coldseal Windows and Doors, Coldseal Conservatories, and Coldseal Group Ltd. It seems that Watchdog viewers have some names of their own for them. In the last four months 270 people have complained to Watchdog about Coldseal, describing them as incompetent, rude, shoddy, aggressive and unprofessional. We have heard from viewers who have called the helpline as much as 50 times and spent as long as 20 months waiting for problems to be put right.
