"Rottweilers remain"

A review of The Anchor by Scott written on Wednesday 28th of July 2004

The Anchor is one of the few pubs in cambridge with a riverside frontage and is a great location for a summer's evening. Their terrace beside the river is lovely but this was spoilt by the fact that we were asked to move inside at 10.30, when it was closed, and then again upstairs before 11. This wouldn't be so bad on a busy weekend but this was a wednesday evening with vey few people in the pub. It perhaps isn't so surprising that the pub was far quieter than it should have been at the height of summer.
