"Good but with attitude"

A review of Robert Sayle by Susie written on Friday 20th of August 2004

I generally enjoy shopping at Robert Sayle, part of the John Lewis chain, as they have a good selection of items and do not stock the rubbishy lower end products that clutter up places like Woolworths. If you're looking for hosiery, either tights or stockings, in colours other than black or tan then be assured RS stocks the entire rainbow!

They have a policy of never knowingly being undersold, in other words as far as they know they are the cheapest in the area, which is great although I have to say their computer staff obviously don't know a great deal about prices as their PCs are consistently some of the poorest deals around.

What I do not like about the store is the pompous, snobby attitude of both customers and staff. As Edina 'Eddy' Monsoon said in Absolutely Fabulous: "You work in a shop, get over it!".
