A review of The Cambridge Blue by Hackette written on Thursday 28th of October 2004
A lot of my friends rave over this pub because it's non smoking and does real ale. There is a no mobile phone policy.
The staff are very pleasant and the house wine is cheap... but I've never really warmed to this place in winter.
Summer is an entirely different story when the appealing pub garden is open.
The pub's quite small and tables are fairly close together, so it can feel quite claustrophobic. To be fair, a lot of people like it for just that reason.
There are some truly awful pubs off Mill Road and this isn't one of them. However, why waste time here when you could be in the Live and Let Live or the Kingston Arms ?.
