A review of University Pitt Club by Weak Neek written on Monday 3rd of October 2005
With anti-public school discrimination and 'inverse snobbery' on the rise, the Pitt Club provides an excellent opportunity to meet fellow public school boys in a lively environment.
Although the interior of the club is a little run down, this is more than made up for by the warm and friendly atmosphere generated by fellow Pittians. The club’s staff is very helpful and they will go out of their way to meet your requests, even to the extent of telephoning several establishments to acquire a bottle of Château La Tour 1966 in time for a formal dinner to be three hours later that day. The Pitt Club holds many events for its members, which include the Annual Dinner, wine tastings, debates etc. I would certainly recommend this club to those who are eligible to enter i.e. new members and members of reciprocal clubs such as the Oxford and Cambridge Club.
