Parker's Piece

Parker's Piece is a 10ha (25 acre) square of grass in central Cambridge. This public space is where the first official rules of football – the Cambridge Rules – were trialled in 1848.

Reality Checkpoint is the unofficial name of a large lamppost which marks the intersection of the two paths crossing Parker's Piece. The landmark is thought to be Cambridge's oldest electrical lamppost.
